Firstly, we are dedicated to expanding the Irish audience for jazz, world music, contemporary classical and related forms. Secondly, we strive to bring the very best performers to Ireland. Our extensive activities include: The Contemporaries Concert Series; New Projects and Commissions; and collaborations and partnerships with Ireland’s premier venues. The Contemporaries series brings music fans the most exciting music in one genre-crossing touring series. With a line-up of acclaimed artists from across the spectrum, it offers insights into contemporary culture and a perspective on new and exciting music from Ireland and around the world. We also produce new work. Our New Projects and Commissions series features a new project by traditional music virtuosos Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill with jazz guitarist Bill Frisell, premiering in May. We will also present Cathal Coughlan’s Foburg in March. Note has a reputation for presenting the most important names in jazz. Our Double Helix Series in collaboration with The Helix sees Wayne Shorter, Charles Lloyd, Anouar Brahem and Jan Garbarek play exclusive Irish concerts.
